We're Hiring!

Yes, hiring! Ever wanted to write for a music blog, but just too lazy to start your own? Then we don't want you, because you probably have no initiative. But if you are motivated, we're looking for new writers to add to our staff! We've noticed over the past couple weeks that posts get sparse when our lives get hectic, so to fight the realities of not having enough time, we have made the decision to increase our writing constituency. If you can use words like "constituency" in a properly formed sentence, then you are likely a good candidate.

To express interest, please e-mail us with some information about yourself and a sample of your work. There's no length or topic requirement. All we ask is that you give us something that best represents your writing style. If you can't find our e-mail on this page, you need not apply.

There is no compensation for writing for YE-LID, but you do get sent a bunch of music from artists who represent all different genres. And hell, it's also a lot of fun. We're not completely sure how many writers we're going to add at this point, but I'm guessing the quality of the applications will dictate that.
